Roma Finance delivers £6 million funding solution for property investor

  • Loan amount: £6,000,000
  • LTV: 75%
  • Term: 6 months

Roma Finance has completed its largest loan to date, providing a £6 million facility to an experienced property investor across a recently completed residential development and a wider buy-to-let portfolio.

The transaction was structured across two linked facilities. The first provided a development exit loan on a completed scheme comprising six two-bedroom apartments. This enabled the borrower to refinance their existing development finance, release restrictions across other properties within their portfolio and create time to secure a longer-term funding solution.

Alongside this, Roma Finance provided a second facility at 75% LTV to refinance eleven buy-to-let properties. By bringing the portfolio under a single loan, the borrower was able to consolidate borrowing from multiple lenders while raising additional capital to support their wider property ambitions.

By linking the two facilities, Roma Finance delivered a tailored funding structure that supported both the completed development and the wider portfolio strategy, providing the flexibility needed to move forward with confidence.

The £6 million completion marks a significant milestone for Roma Finance and demonstrates the lender’s growing ability to support larger and more complex transactions across the property finance market.

Sonia Mann, Head of Sales at Roma Finance, said: “Completing our largest-ever loan is a fantastic milestone for Roma and demonstrates our continued growth as a specialist lender. This was a complex transaction involving multiple properties and existing borrowing arrangements, but by working closely with the customer we were able to put together a solution that met their needs.

“What stood out most was taking the time to understand the bigger picture. Rather than looking at each property in isolation, we worked with the borrower to structure a solution that supported both their immediate requirements and future plans. That’s exactly what we strive to do at Roma. We’re committed to building long-term relationships with our customers, supporting them not only with their immediate funding needs but throughout every stage of their property investment journey.”
