Paula Dowson joins Roma Finance

Roma Finance is delighted to welcome Paula Dowson to the team as National Account Manager.

With over 25 years’ experience, Paula joins Roma Finance from Landbay, where she held the position of Senior Regional Account Manager. Previously, Paula held roles at Castle Trust Bank, Glenhawk and Together.

Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation for developing long-term intermediary relationships and delivering funding solutions across the bridging and specialist lending markets.

In her new role, Paula will work alongside the wider team to deepen broker relationships across England, Scotland and Wales, supporting the wider team in identifying new business opportunities and helping more brokers access Roma’s market leading product range.

Paula’s appointment comes at a particularly exciting time for Roma Finance. Following the recent completion of a significant new funding line and the successful launch of its commercial mortgage proposition, the lender is continuing to invest in both its people and product offering. Having grown its team significantly over the past year, Paula’s appointment is the latest in a series of strategic hires as Roma enters its next phase of growth.

Paula Dowson, National Account Manager at Roma Finance, said: “I’m delighted to be joining Roma Finance at such an exciting stage in the company’s journey. Roma has a fantastic reputation within the specialist finance market and a genuinely relationship-led approach that sets it apart.

“The business has ambitious growth plans, a strong and evolving product offering, and a real commitment to supporting brokers, making it a great fit for me. I’m looking forward to building new relationships and helping more introducers and their customers access the funding solutions they need, whether that’s bridging finance, development finance or long-term property funding.”

Sonia Mann, Head of Sales, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Paula to the team. Her experience, industry relationships and customer-first approach make her a fantastic addition to Roma. It’s an incredibly exciting time for the business following the launch of our commercial mortgage proposition and the addition of a significant new funding line, both of which have strengthened our offering to brokers and borrowers. Paula’s appointment is the first of a number of exciting hires we plan to announce as we continue investing in our people, proposition and long-term growth.”
